Robin Armstrong – Partner

Robin has worked in mental health services in London for over twenty years.

Having trained initially as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, he has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings, both as a practitioner and a manager. These experiences have ranged from general adult psychiatry, through psychodynamic approaches and on to forensic services. Since 1999, he has worked in a number of NHS posts at Board level, including Director of Nursing and in operational services.

Within Armstrong Henry Learn, the development t branch of the company, Robin has extensive experience in delivery of training in all areas of social care, particularly in legislation and the care of older people.

Beyond the NHS, he has also worked as a Chief Executive of MIND, the mental health charity, as a Director of a nursing agency and as a management consultant.

These experiences have given him a breadth of clinical and professional knowledge about the process and practice of the public sector and also how organisations, cultures and staff groups work.

Sarah Henry – Registered Manager & Partner

Sarah has an honours degree from Goldsmiths College, London and spent the early part of her career in the Civil Service, working at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Whitehall. She later moved on to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Subsequently she has spent twelve years working in community mental health services and, more recently, in training and service development in a local authority social services department. During this time she has developed an extensive portfolio of experience in mental health awareness, team building and cross agency working, including the police and the voluntary sector.

Sarah’s training and development credentials are second to none and her personal development skills are an asset to any organisation.

Janet Henry – Administrator

Janet has wide experience of administration in both the health and social care fields. Her role is to ensure the smooth running of the Armstrong Henry office.
